We can build VW & Porsche aircooled engines to your specifications and requirements, or even build your race engine!

All JS Auto tuning engines come with a dynamically balanced crankshaft, Piston rings checked and gapped accordingly, 
Valve spring pressures checked and matched,
All bearing clearances checked and adjusted where necessary to manufacturers specifications,
best quality parts used,
and a 12-month warranty (on stock, mild performance only).

All our engine builds are run up and fully set up in house on our stuska water brake dyno, we are one of a few engine builders in europe that do this, usually engine builders perform cam burn and timing set up only, meaning you are required to take your vehicle to a rolling road for full tuning set up afterwards!

For those who want a bit more grunt, we machine your case and heads to 90.5mm pistons and barrels, 
crank case full flowed for external filter, heads can be ported for extra flow and increased performance.
this engine will require twin carbs.

1.7/1.8/2.0 Type 4 engine

Full V.W or Porsche type 4 engine rebuild, including dyno run in and set up.
basic rebuild items include,
Gasket set, bearings, crank grind, new cam shaft and followers, new pistons and barrels, remanufactured cylinder heads.
All engine tolerances and bearing clearances checked and set where required
We recommend new carburettors with all type 4 engine rebuilds.

When we build any engine, we take pride in every step, and have the benefit of being able to perform most machining tasks in house, including dynamically balancing the crank assembly, pistons and rods, to ensure a smoother, more reliable engine.
All of our turn key engines, have the added benefit of being run up, tuned and set up properly on our Stuska engine dyno, not just on a test bench, so you can be sure your getting the best out of your engine straight away.
